I've just come back from spending a week in Derbyshire Gemma was on a hen party and Tim was 'Munro' walking so I looked after Rosie - we had a lot of fun!!!We took this photo to compare with a photo taken on this rug a year ago - Rosie looks huge now!!

Rosie likes the piano - also her drum and xylophone - I think she's going to join a rock band - it has to be loud music!!!

Thinking up the next bit of mischief!!

She knows the meaning of 'No' and shakes her head before doing naughty things!! - like posting things down behind the radiator - they get stuck and she knows it causes a problem!

Rosie can take several steps now and loves walking behind her trolley - I must have done at least 50 laps of the room whilst baby sitting on Saturday - she can't turn around when she reaches the end of the room - very frustrating!

Watching Bob the Builder on children's TV.

I had a lovely few days and now it's all systems go for Antoinette and Gareth's wedding - not long now.

Just a few family photos taken at Alana's christening today! It was a lovely service and we all went back to Bev and Ty for lunch.

A few photos taken last wekend on my visit to Gemma, Tim and Rosie. I made her a green dress, green knitted top and sweet little felt shoes!!! Gemma has to cover Rosie in cream - for her excema (can't spell it!!) which is quite bad - takes after you , Ant, and Gemma!!

Rosie was fascinated by all the marble busts on our trip to Chatsworth - we used the tickets we should have all used at Christmas but couldn't get there because of the snow. We went last Sunday and Rosie enjoyed it too - though she is rather heavy to carry and we had to take turns.

Rosie watching the ducks swimming around a fountain at Chatsworth - I knitted the beret but it's a bit big.

The hair is as red as ever - especially outside in the sun!

After visiting the house and having scones, jam amd cream!!!!! - we went for a walk around part of the grounds - you'll be able to go there for picnics next year, Ant - when you're living in the area.

Wednesday, 3 March 2010

After yesterday's spring day it is now blowing a freezing cold easterly force 5 wind so I had to go down on the high tide (an hour later than yesterday) to take contrasting photographs - but you can't feel how cold it really was!!!!!

Tuesday, 2 March 2010

It was so beautiful this morning that I went for a walk at 7.30 - it was one of the highest tides of the year and the water at Bordeaux looked lovely. If it had been summer I would have been swimming!!!!

The sheep opposite us are due to lamb shortly - can't wait to see them prancing around!

Here are a selection of photos for you to look at, Ant. Gemma and Rosie had a good time with Grandad on his 80th birthday - wish you could have been here too!!
George had a good time with Rosie too!!

Rosie - using Grandma's high chair - 78 years old and still going strong!! (Both grandma and the high chair!!!)

Rosie playing with my cloth book - that one is 55 years old - and still going strong!!

A photo showing just how red rosie's hair is in the sunlight!

Waiting to fly home - the flight was delayed for over an hour - very frustrating but at least they got away eventually!! You can see how much Gemma enjoys flying!!

Gemma knitted Rosie a hairband last night - I knitted the flower - designer baby!!!
