Sam and Ethan had a half hour game of golf - followed by football with Sam, Ty and Ethan!!

Grnadma and Grandad made lots of cakes - Ethan was being very nice to them!!!

I've been quilt making recently - it's very addictive and although I don't consider it to be 'art' - it is nice to do a bit of 'utility' work occasionally! I bought most of this blue material in Boston about 10 years ago - knew it would be used sometime!! It is bordered with calico and though you can't see from the photos, I've quilted the names of blue flowers around the borders.

This quilt was made using japanese fabrics bought in Harrogate a couple of years ago. I must go back sometime to re-stock as I would like to try another japanese inspired quilt.

The quilt was mainly machine quilted but I have added a few hand-stitched circular motifs in sashiko thread.

I'm now working on a batik panel that I dyed a couple of years ago - but that's more of an art project - so I'll have to see where it takes me!!! In any spare time, I'm still knitting and sewing for Rosie who's growing in leaps and bounds!!
