I have been working on a replacement pulpit fall for our local church. I have always wanted to do an ecclesiastical embroidery and as it is the centenary of Bordeaux methodist church this year , i offered to do this - i did in fact make the original pulpit fall in 1972 when i was just 17 years old!! It's rather dated now, as you can imagine!!! Having finished my embroidery city and guilds a couple of years ago, i have gone on to experiment with all types of stitching and doing this project has been a very good discipline!! Will keep you posted!
